Privacy Policy
What RapVideo AI collects, why, who processes it and how long it is kept.
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This policy explains how rapaivideo.net ("RapVideo AI", "we") handles personal data.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
- Your uploads. The photos you add, and any song or reference video you upload, to create your video. Photos are redrawn in your browser before upload, which also removes embedded location data.
- Your videos. The videos rendered for you, including a free preview when you make one, and the settings you chose, such as model, length, quality, format, stage, sound and, for an AI rap, the topic you write.
- Free preview record. When the create page offers a free preview and you make one, we store one-way, keyed fingerprints of your email address (addresses that differ only in dots or a "+" tag count as the same), of the random ID your browser keeps for our site, and of your network address. They let us give one preview per account, one per browser in 30 days and a few per network in a day. They cannot be turned back into your address, browser ID or IP address, and they are not shown to anyone.
- Purchase data. Orders, amounts and subscription status. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Support requests. What you write to us in Support, and which of your videos or payments it is about. They are kept until you delete your account.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and request logs, used for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
- Visit data. The pages you open on our site, the site that sent you (the first one and the latest one), the first page you landed on, your country and whether you use a phone or a computer, tied to a random visitor ID kept in a cookie. When no site is named, we note how the first page was opened, for example from inside an app or from a link that hid where it was. We use it to see how people find and use the site.
- Where you heard about us. While a video renders we may ask, once, where you heard about us. Answering is optional and takes one tap.
- A short-lived visit link. When you arrive from a site that named itself, we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address and device type (iPhone, Android, computer) for up to one hour, so that if you open us again within minutes in another browser on the same network, the visit is counted under the same source. The code cannot be turned back into your IP address and is deleted within the hour.
Why we use it
To create and store your videos, run your account and credits, take payments, prevent abuse (including giving a free preview only once), answer support requests and keep the service secure.
When you are signed in, each photo is checked for sexual or hateful content as soon as you add it, and that check copy is deleted right after. Before a video is made, the rap topic you write and your photos are checked again, and the finished video is checked before it is shown to you.
Who processes it
We use carefully selected service providers, each only for the job described here:
- An AI image service. For Wan 3.0 videos in the Hotel Lobby booth, each photo is first redrawn as a full-length studio portrait of the same person or pet, and the video model works from that portrait. The service receives your photo and the drawing instructions and returns the portrait. If you use the same photo again while it is still stored, we reuse its portrait instead of making a new one.
- AI video providers. The third-party AI service that runs the model you pick in the generator (Wan 3.0 by default, or one of the Seedance models) receives your photos (or the portraits made from them), any song or reference video, and the rendering instructions, and returns the finished video. For some models your photos are first placed in the provider's private review area, which is required for photos of real people; we remove them as soon as your video is finished. These providers keep generation logs and results under their own terms, for their own limited periods.
- A content safety service checks your rap topic, your photos and the finished video for sexual or hateful content.
- Hosting, storage and database providers run the site and store your account, uploads and videos.
- Google provides sign-in.
- Stripe processes payments.
- A privacy-friendly analytics service counts page views and sign-up and purchase steps without cookies.
Some of these providers process data outside your country. We only share what each one needs to do its job.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded photos, songs and reference clips, and the portraits made from your photos: deleted 7 days after the render finishes.
- Finished videos: kept in your account until you delete them or delete your account.
- Account data: kept while your account is open.
- Free preview record: the email fingerprint is kept for as long as free previews are part of the service, including while they are paused and after you delete your account, so a deleted and re-created account does not get a second preview; if the preview fails, it is removed and you can try again. The browser and network fingerprints are kept with the record of that preview.
- Order and payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, up to 7 years, even after you delete your account.
- Security logs: kept for a limited period for abuse prevention.
Your choices and rights
- Delete any video from My videos. The file is removed from our storage.
- Delete your account from Account settings. We then delete your account, your uploads and your videos, except records we must keep by law.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email us to use them.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language and keep the timer of a limited-time offer. For our own visit statistics we set a cookie with a random visitor ID, cookies that remember the site and page you first arrived from and the latest site that sent you, and a 30-minute cookie that notes how your first page was opened. We do not use advertising cookies.
Some guides show videos posted by other people on YouTube, TikTok or X. Until you press play, only a still image is shown and nothing loads from those platforms. When you press play, the platform’s own player loads in the page (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player for YouTube videos), and that platform’s privacy policy and cookies apply to it.
Children
The service is not for children under 13, and paid features require you to be an adult. Do not upload photos of minors without a parent or guardian's consent.
