The jump, in slow motion
The car climbs the dune, leaves the crest, hangs in the air with sand spraying from its wheels and lands.
The desert stunt trend
One photo puts you in a camp chair on a sand dune at golden hour. You snap your fingers, and behind you an off-road car races up a dune, flies through the air in slow motion and lands. You never look back.
A clear, well-lit photo works best. Two photos put two people side by side.

Hotel Lobby Video (rapaivideo.net) makes the car jump AI video from one photo: you sit calm in a camp chair in the desert while an off-road car launches off a dune behind you, flies in slow motion and lands, with an original action beat. A 5-second effect at 720p costs 4 credits; packs start at 10 credits for $9.99. There is no subscription. There is no free preview. The provider quotes up to about 5 minutes for a Seedance render.

The trend
The car jump AI video is a cool-guy shot: someone sits in the foreground looking at the camera, completely relaxed, while a car does something dangerous far behind them. The joke is the calm. The car jump trend spread as an AI video on TikTok and Reels in October 2026; we found tool pages about it, not an original clip, so we do not name a source.
Here it is an effect in the generator: Car Jump under Effects. You add one photo (or one photo of two people, who both sit in chairs), and the scene is written into the prompt: dunes at golden hour, a low camera, a dusty off-road car with no brand, logo or lettering, a slow-motion jump, a landing on all four wheels. The car stays well behind you.
Three steps

A clear photo of you, face visible. Full length or waist up works; the effect sits you in a chair either way.

It opens on Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p, 5 seconds, 9:16. A longer car jump AI video or another model shows its own price.

The provider quotes up to about 5 minutes; our test took about two minutes. The MP4 has the music, ready to post.
What you get

The car climbs the dune, leaves the crest, hangs in the air with sand spraying from its wheels and lands.

You stay seated facing the camera, snap your fingers and finish with a small smirk. No turning around.

Plain bodywork with no logo, badge or lettering, so the clip carries no brand.

An original score that builds to a heavy hit on the landing, with the engine roar in it.
We made this car jump test on 14 October 2026 from one AI-made man’s photo, with the same prompt the generator sends: Seedance 2.0 Mini, 480p, 5 seconds, 9:16 (2 credits at that setting). The car jumped and landed behind him, he stayed in his chair, and his face and linen shirt stayed his. One render is one sample: results vary.

Tool pages for this trend hand out a long text prompt to paste into an image-to-video app, and the hard parts are the same everywhere: the car drifting toward the person, the car changing shape mid-air, the face changing. Here the prompt is fixed and tested once, the car is told to stay well clear of you, and you only add the photo. It is still a generated scene, not a real stunt: physics and the car’s shape can look off in a given render.

The prompt keeps the car well behind you and lands it far from you. In our test it did; a render can still come out odd, and a failed render is refunded.
Yes. Add one photo of both of you, or one photo each, and both sit in camp chairs.
No. It is always a dusty off-road car with no make or logo, so no brand ends up in your video.
